There is honestly nothing I love more than hitting the road and exploring new places, living out of a van or a roof top tent and driving as far as your heart desires.
Destinations are one thing, to pull up at a new location for a hike, to explore a waterfall, for a swim or a lookout, but a huge part of the joy of road tripping for me is the sites and scenery you see while on the drive. The moments that sweep past you in an instance as you fly past, the ones you really absorb as you relax into a long drive.
Not to mention the towns!! Sometimes the quaint, special, trendy little country or coastal towns you drive through reaching these destinations are the secret highlights, whether its a trendy cafe full of local goodies, public art on silos or power poles or simply just the beauty of well kept and loved gardens, rolling hills and adorable pets.
